Weekend Ideas part one
Why is it important to spend quality time with your loved ones? It doesn’t matter whether you spend one hour or one whole day with someone important as long as you have given all your attention and heart to that person and to what you’re doing. You hold on to that moment regardless of the ticking of the clock and that moment seems to last!
My hubby is unique individual. While he can be a typical male, he doesn’t have any problem learning my interests and where a woman’s heart would flutter. If you look forward to weekends here’s a few things we did that might be a good idea for you to try:
Friday afternoons – shopping or buying food you want to eat or try cooking in the weekend. If you’re hubby doesn’t have the knack for the kitchen, it doesn’t hurt to try cooking for him or cooking new recipes together.
Saturdays – We spend this day at church. Afternoons are with friends and great dessert samples are to be tasted! Saturday evenings, typically are for movies, but why don’t you try inviting 3 friends over for a nice eggplant-cheese bake and some asian noodle soup?
Sundays – If you live in a place like the Philippines, everyone almost is surely surrounded by water – geographically. Since the nearest body of water is a lake, we went to a pool and the hubby and a friend taught some kids how to swim. Don’t forget to apply some sun block lotion even if you decide not to swim! It’s always great to wait on people while you read a book.
Sunday evening dinner – Homemade Pizza!
